2006-2007
  • Met weekly
  • Met with Professor's Hulbert (Undergraduate Chair)
  • Also met with Professor Dowling (new Undergraduate Chair)
  • Continued work with ASO to hand out 2nd Annual MESLB Scholarships.
    • MESLB Transfer Scholarship
    • MESLB Future Leader Award
    • ME Impact Award
    • MESLB Service Award
  • Student representation on the MEAM Planning Committee
  • Discussed changes to ME490 structure
  • Worked with ME administration to hold an ME recruiting event at Pizza House during the ME week for undeclared students. It also included the officers from the ME societies.
2005-2006
  • Met weekly
  • Met with Professor's Hulbert (Undergraduate Chair) and Assanis (Department Chair)
  • Worked on 3rd Annual ME Townhall Meeting with ASME & PTS
    • Happened in February due to scheduling problems, ideally would be in November with ASME GBM
    • Students had concerns and questions addressed (issues with website, crowding of classes and facilities discussed)
    • Departmental Administration can obtain feedback on ideas and questions to student body
  • Worked with ASO to create Scholarship Committees, which resulted in 4 first time scholarships handed out.

  • Held 2nd Annual ME Honors Banquet in conjuction with Department and PTS
    • Students who received awards that were not previously recognized
    • A few awards to recognize excellent teaching by faculty
  • Attended and represented student body at MEAM External Advisory Board meetings
  • Student representation on the MEAM Planning Committee

    • To be held each November in conjunction with ASME General Body Meeting
    • Students can have concerns and questions addressed
    • Departmental Administration can obtain feedback on ideas and questions to student body
  • Had a newly declared/transfer student mixer with the MESLB to show these students the various opportunities offered in the ME societies
  • Held an ME Honors Banquet (turned over event to ASME IVP)
    • Students who received awards that were not previously recognized

  • Worked with Department on an ME presentation given in January with other Departments in conjuction with the USAB

2002-2003
  • Met weekly
  • Met semesterly with Professor Perkins (Undergraduate Chair)
  • Continued to work on issues with EECS 314 and had USAB representatives expand on our surveys and get greater input.
  • Maintained MEAM student bulletin board
  • Attended and represented student body at MEAM External Advisory Board meetings
  • Student representation on the MEAM Planning Committee
