ME Undergraduate Concentration in Energy
Global economic, geopolitical, and environmental factors all suggest that improvements are needed in the way that energy is produced, converted, and utilized in the modern world.
Mechanical systems are integral to all three of these activities. Thus, an undergraduate concentration in energy, consisting of 12 credit hours, is defined below. For more information, contact the Undergraduate Advisor in the Academic Services Office (2206 GGBrown) or Prof. Wooldridge (mswool@umich.edu).
Students must be in good standing to declare the concentration and must file a course plan with the ME Undergraduate Advisor in the ASO. Students must pass all classes with satisfactory grades. Students may petition the ME UG program director and/or ME UG Program Committee to consider other courses for inclusion in this concentration.
