ME 552 (Mfg 552): Electromechanical System Design
Design of electromechanical systems with emphasis placed on the integration of mechanical and electrical principles. Topics include: electromechanical device design: generators/alternators, electric motors, measurement/sensing devices; digital control: microprocessors, AD/DA converters, data transmission and acquisition; electromechanical system design: mixed domain modeling, real time control and mechatronic systems.
