Thank You

The organizing committee would like to thank all participants for joining us in Ann Arbor on June 28-30, 2015, for the 12th IFAC Workshop on Time Delay Systems and making the workshop successfull and enjoyable.

The workshop aimed for the same high quality as the prior ones, with traditional applications like manufacturing and automotive systems, as well as newly arising topics like networked dynamics and biological systems. The workshop featured both invited and contributed sessions. We had 81 papers presented and 103 registered participants. We included an experimental demonstration session where researchers displayed their results in-situ to the participants and a panel discussion that allowed researchers from academia and industry to discuss industrial applications where time delays play an important role. The workshop was preceded by a one-day course where the 32 participants had the opportunity to learn about advanced topics in time delay systems.

Overall we can say the workshop was of great success based on the feedback from the participants and it demonstrated well the strength of the community working on time delay systems.
