The Robert Caddell Memorial was established in 1990 in honor of Professor Caddell, to recognize contributions to basic research in the materials/manufacturing area. The Ivor K. McIvor Memorial was established in 1978 to honor Professor McIvor, the last chair of the Applied Mechanics and Engineering Services Department, to recognize outstanding scholastic and research performance by graduate students in applied mechanics. The William Mirsky Memorial was established in 1993 in honor of Professor Mirsky to recognize outstanding research at the master's level. Student Financial Aid.
