Kim (BSChE '98 as Kim Dillon) and Brian Bishop (BSME '96 and BSAE '96) welcomed Alexander James on July 26, 2004, at 6:39 p.m. He weighed 8 pounds, 2 ounces and was 19.5 inches long.

Brian also just joined Apple Computer in Cupertino, CA, as a New Product Introduction Operations Program Manager. The NPI role coordinates all other functions in Apple to ensure that the manufacturer delivers product on time and to spec. Brian writes, "It should be fun!"

Rich Hofer (MSAE '00, BSAE '98 and BSME '98) was awarded his PhD in Aerospace Engineering from U-M in April 2004.
