Impact MEAM Year After Year
Your donations to MEAM do make a difference

Take the S.M. Wu Lectureship on Manufacturing Sciences, for example. This lecture was created by Daisy Wu in honor of her late husband, Professor Shien-Ming (Sam) Wu. The October 1999 lecture featured Dr. Toshio Sata, vice president, Toyota Technical Institute. The lectureship's impact on MEAM faculty and students is far-reaching. Your donations can be, too. We welcome your contributions to any of the following funds:
U-M MEAM CPO /Rodney Hill
Daisy Wu, right, presents to Wu Lectureship speaker, Dr. Toshio Sata, left, a Kaizan (Chinese calligraphic mark).
UM MEAM CPO / Shekinah Errington Left: Kenneth K. Kohrs (MSE ME '66, UMDearborn), former founding chair of MEAM's External Advisory Board (EAB), was a guest speaker in the ME 587 Reconfigurable, Agile Manufacturing class taught by MEAM Professor and Chair A. Galip Ulsoy. Kohrs was recently named industry co-director of the Joel D. Tauber Manufacturing Institute (TMI), a joint venture between the U-M College of Engineering (CoE) and the U-M School of Business Administration. Kohrs formerly served as vice president of the Large and Luxury Car Vehicle Center for Ford Motor Co.
