Graduate Student Checklist
- Before you come to campus, print yourself a map
- Plan to come to the Pre-Orientation Check-In sessions on either Thursday, August 23rd or Friday, August 24th at 3:00 p.m. in 2211 GG Brown Building. You will need to complete the Challenge Program Medical Release forms here.
- If you are an incoming Ph.D. student, plan on attending the Q&A-style Informational Session to be offered on Friday, September 7 at 4:00 p.m. in the Johnson Room, Lurie Engineering Center in Room 2211 in GG Brown.
- Go to the Registrar/Entree office either in Pierpont Commons on North Campus, or in the LSA building on Central Campus to get your student ID card (If you are planning on going to Rackham's Orientation, you can also get it there).
- Make an appointment with your faculty guide to discuss classes and programs.
- Finish registering for classes and update your address information on Wolverine Access (this piece is very important).
- You will be subscribed to the GRIME e-mail group (an e-mail list for all of the ME grad students). Click here for more information.
- After classes start, go to CAEN(Computer Aided Engineering Network) in 2320 Duderstadt Center to get a CAEN computer account. This will allow you to use the CAEN computer labs and workstations. This is a very important last step - do not forget!
