Barton receives ASME DSCD Young Investigator Award

Kira BartonAssociate Professor Kira Barton has been selected as the 2017 winner of the ASME Dynamic Systems and Control Division (DSCD) Young Investigator Award.

This award is given biennially (odd years) by the Dynamic Systems and Control Division of ASME to a DSCD member who will not have reached his/her 40th birthday until after the date the award is scheduled to be presented, and who as a mechanical engineering professional, has demonstrated outstanding research contributions, either basic or applied, in fields of interest to the DSCD.

Barton was also recently selected as a Miller Faculty Scholar.
