Grosh Elected ASA Fellow

GroshME Professor Karl Grosh has been elected a Fellow of the Acoustical Society of America (ASA) in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the areas of cochlear mechanics and acoustic transduction. He will be formally recognized by the ASA on April 21, 2010, at the Society’s upcoming meeting in Baltimore, Maryland.

Grosh also serves as a professor in the Biomedical Engineering department. His research interests include structural acoustics and vibration, finite element methods, electroacoustic transducers, cochlear mechanics, noise control, gear dynamics, contact noise, and the biomechanics of soft tissue.
