Okwudire and students win Best Oral Paper Award at 2015 American Society for Precision Engineering Conference

A paper titled, “A Novel Approach for Reducing the Settling Time of Roller Bearing Nanopositioning Stages using High Frequency Vibration” has won the best oral paper award at the American Society for Precision Engineering (ASPE) conference held from November 1-6, 2015. The paper was co-authored by ME Assistant Professor, Chinedum Okwudire, and his students, Xin Dong and Xiaowen Zhang. At ASPE meetings, a select few top-quality papers are presented orally to the entire ASPE community in joint sessions, the rest are presented as poster papers. The best orally-presented paper is selected based its technical content (50%) and delivery (50%).
