Okwudire selected to receive the ISFA 2016 Young Investigator Award

ME Assistant Professor Chinedum Okwudire has been selected to receive the 2016 Young Investigator Award from the International Symposium on Flexible Automation (ISFA).

ISFA established the Young Investigator Award in 1998 to recognize outstanding young contributors to flexible automation who are 35 years old or younger at the time of awarding. Okwudire is recognized for his research contributions to improving the motion speed and precision of manufacturing machines, at low cost and high energy efficiency, through novel electromechanical design and control.

Okwudire is the director of the Mechatronics and Sustainability Research Lab.
