William T. Ennor Manufacturing Technology Award presented to Albert Shih

The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) has selected mechanical engineering professor, Albert Shih, with the 2021 William T. Ennor Manufacturing Technology Award. ASME has given Shih this award for, “contributions and leadership in biomedical manufacturing through the broadening of research collaborations and technology transfer; and for advancing the manufacturing of assistive devices that have improved the quality of healthcare.”

The William T. Ennor Manufacturing Technology Award is presented annually to an individual or team of individuals for developing or contributing significantly to an innovative manufacturing technology, the implementation of which has resulted in substantial economic and/or societal benefits.

Congratulations to Professor Shih on this honor.
