Associate Professor Anna Stefanopoulou has been named one of the World’s Top 100 Young Innovators in technology and business by Technology Review, MIT’s award-winning magazine of innovation.
She received her award at the TR100 Symposium and Awards Ceremony held May 23 in Cambridge, Massachusetts. The symposium’s theme was “The Innovation Economy: How Technology is Transforming Existing Businesses and Creating New Ones.” The event celebrated and acknowledged the outstanding work of individuals who are under 35 years of age and whose contributions have had a profound effect on today’s world. A panel comprised of two Nobel laureates and leaders in business and academe selected each honoree.
