Associate Professor Claus Borgnakke has been named the recipient of the 2009 James Harry Potter Gold Medal given by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers.
The James Harry Potter Gold Medal recognizes eminent achievement and distinguished service in the science of thermodynamics in mechanical engineering. The award is based on contributions to teaching and utilization of thermodynamic principles in research, development, and design in mechanical engineering.
