ME Associate Professor Diann Brei has been elected as a Fellow of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers. According to the ASME web site, “The Fellow Grade recognizes significant engineering achievements and contributions to the engineering profession.”
Brei is recognized for her pioneering work and impact in the field of adaptive materials-based actuators and systems.
