Professor Diann Brei has been selected to receive the 2018 ASME Adaptive Structures and Material Systems Award.
This award recognizes significant contributions to the sciences and technologies associated with adaptive structures and/or materials systems. The award is intended to honor a lifetime of achievement and sustained impact in the field and is given only to a senior researcher.
Earlier in 2018, Brei was also the recipient of the Monroe-Brown Foundation Service Excellence Award and the Rackham Master’s Mentoring Award.
