Five ME Students Receive 2018 NSF GRFP awards


Five ME graduate students received NSF GRFP (National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship Program) awards this year. The NSF GRFP’s goal is to increase the nation’s human capacity in science and engineering by providing fellowships to early-career graduate students to support the development of a diverse and globally engaged U.S. science and engineering workforce. The recipients are:

  • Andrew Edoimioya, PhD student, Advisor: Chinedum Okwudire
  • Shannon Danforth, PhD student, Advisor: Ram Vasudevan
  • Andrew Gayle, PhD student, Advisor: Neil Dasgupta
  • Victor Rodriguez, PhD student, Advisor: Jesse Capecelatro
  • Michael Potter, PhD student, Advisors: Lauro Ojeda, Noel Perkins
