A. Galip Ulsoy received the Best Paper Award from the Dynamic Systems and Control Division of ASME

 The paper “Identification of a Driver Steering Model, and Model Uncertainty, From Driving Simulator Data,” ASME J. Dyn. Syst. Meas. Control, Vol. 123, No. 4, pp 623-629, Dec. 2001, by Liang-Kuang Chen and A. Galip Ulsoy ( https://me-web2.engin.umich.edu/zope/pubdir/bio?uniqname=ulsoy ) received the Best Paper Award from the Dynamic Systems and Control Division of ASME at the International Mechanical Engineering Congress and Exhibition, New Orleans, November 21, 2002. Liang-kuang Chen, a former doctoral student in ME, is not a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.
