Dr. Xiaoning Jin, ME Assistant Research Scientist, has been selected for an Outstanding Young Manufacturing Engineer Award from the Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME). The award recognizes manufacturing engineers, age 35 or younger, who have made exceptional contributions and accomplishments in the manufacturing industry.
Jin’s research interests focus on designing and developing models, optimization techniques and decision-support tools for manufacturing systems to improve resource utilization efficiency, resilience, and sustainability; My research topics includes Remanufacturing systems, Intelligent Maintenance Systems, Prognostic and Health Management Techniques.
