Katsuo Kurabayashi named Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry

Katsuo KURABAYASHI

The Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC) has named Katsuo Kurabayashi a 2021 fellow. Kurabayashi is a professor of mechanical engineering and electrical engineering and computer science.

The RSC has recognized Professor Kurabayashi for “an outstanding contribution to the advancement of the chemical sciences, the advancement of the chemical sciences as a profession, or being distinguished in the management of a chemical sciences organization.”  

Kurabayashi’s research interests include microelectromechanical systems, microscale thermal engineering and design, heat transfer in micro/nano structures, semiconductor processing for micromechanical structure fabrication, microfluidic devices, sensors, and actuators.
