Professor Wei Lu has been selected to receive the 2014 ASME Gustus L. Larson Memorial Award. The award honors engineering graduates who show outstanding achievement in mechanical engineering within ten to twenty years after the completion of their degrees. The award was established in 1974 and honors Gustus L. Larson, Fellow and founder of Pi Tau Sigma.
Wei is recognized for his outstanding contributions in the field of Li battery and nanomechanics.
