ME Professor Kazu Saitou has received the Achievement Award given by the Design and Systems Division of the Japan Society of Mechanical Engineers. The award was presented during the 21st Annual Meeting of the Design and Systems Division (D&S 2011) on Oct 21-23 in Yamagata, Japan. Past recipients of the award from Michigan ME are Noboru Kikuchi (2002) and Panos Papalambros (2004).
