Shih receives 2018 SME Taylor Research Medal

Albert ShihME Professor Albert Shih has been chosen as a recipient of the 2018 SME Frederick W. Taylor Research Medal.

This award honors significant published research leading to a better understanding of materials, facilities, principles, operations and their application to improve manufacturing processes.

Recipients of the SME International Honor Awards are honored each year at an awards ceremony, which is held in conjunction with the SME Annual Meeting.

Shih is also a Professor of Biomedical Engineering and a faculty member of Integrative Systems and Design.
