The Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) annually gives the Vincent Bendix Automotive Electronics Engineering Award. This award recognizes the best paper on the subject of automotive electronics engineering.
For 2019, Professor of mechanical engineering and electrical engineering and computer science, Dawn Tilbury, and her co-authors’ have been honored with the award. Their paper honored with the award is entitled, “Situational Awareness, Driver’s Trust in Automated Driving Systems and Secondary Task Performance.”
