U-M chosen to host 4th annual CIRP Conference

12/01/2011

The University of Michigan cordially invites you to participate in the 4th annual CIRP Conference, to be held May 21-23, 2012. This year’s theme is responsive, customer demand driven and adaptive assembly. Different topics of discussion may include human-robot interactive assembly and innovative joining technologies.

Only four years old, this conference is still getting its feet on solid ground. So far, only one keynote speaker has joined the team, Professor Daniel Whitney of Mechanical Engineering of Massachusetts of Institute of Technology. Professor Whitney is also the Program Area Manager for Information-Based Product Development research in the Ford-MIT Alliance. Keep checking back for more details.

Professor S. Jack Hu and Yoram Koren are chairmen of this conference.
