Ulsoy receives ASME Rudolf Kalman Best Paper Award

Galip Ulsoy, the C.D. Mote Jr. Distinguished University Professor Emeritus and William Clay Ford Professor Emeritus of Manufacturing, has been selected to receive the 2016 ASME Rudolf Kalman Best Paper Award for his paper entitled “Time-Delayed Control of SISO Systems for Improved Stability Margins,” ASME Journal of Dynamic Systems, Measurement and Control, April, 2015.

This award is given annually by the Dynamic Systems and Control Division of ASME to the authors of the best paper published in the ASME Journal of Dynamic Systems Measurement and Control during the preceding year.

Ulsoy recently retired this past June after 36 years with the U-M.
