Xinyu Tan receives Helen Wu Award

ME PhD Candidate Xinyu Tan has been selected to receive the Helen Wu Award ($8,000).

The award is named in honor of Helen Lun Chen Wu who accepted the offer of a Barbour Scholarship from the University of Michigan where she received her Ph.D. in Biological Chemistry in 1953.

The Helen Wu award was established to help future generations of graduate students who have been nominated for a Barbour Scholarship.

Xinyu is a member of the Liu Lab and her advisor is ME Assistant Professor Allen Liu.
