Research Interests

Design, optimization, and dynamics of new generations of engineered materials (metamaterials) that allow improved control over the propagation of acoustic, elastic and electromagnetic waves with applications in biomedical engineering, telecommunications, aero- and underwater acoustics; noise control; smart materials; mechatronics.
