Fluid Mechanics, 5th Edition, has been newly revised and updated by ME Professor David Dowling. Dowling’s co-authors are Pijush Kundu and Ira Cohen.
Fluid Mechanics is geared towards introductory courses at the graduate level and advanced courses at the undergraduate level. The textbook guides students from the fundamentals to the analysis and application of fluid mechanics, including compressible flow and such diverse applications as aerodynamics and biofluid mechanics.
Fluid Mechanics also includes multimedia, such as fluids video clips, virtual labs and simulations, and interactive demonstrations/animations.
