ME Professor Receives MINTS Funding for Industrial Tech Startup

In an article earlier this month, it was announced the industrial tech startup, Fusion Coolant Systems, raised $8 million in Seris C funding. The founder of the startup is Mechanical Engineering professor, Steve Skerlos. Fusion Coolant Systems is a patented technology that cools industrial equipment as a cutting fluid. The company was founded in 2011 and is ready to move full steam ahead. Part of the funding came from Michigan Investment in New Technology Startups (MINTS), which is an initiative for U-M to invest in venture-funded U-M startups.
