As of January 1, 2003, Professor Deba Dutta has accepted the role of the ME Graduate Program Director, while continuing to serve as Associate Chair for all aspects related to the department’s teaching initiatives.
Professor Dutta has previously provided outstanding service as the Director of the Interdisciplinary Programs Office, the Director of the Program in Manufacturing, and the Financial Aid Coordinator of our ME Graduate Program.
The position of ME Graduate Program Director was previously held by Professor Jun Ni, who stepped down from the position upon his recent appointment as Deputy Director of the Engineering Research Center for Reconfigurable Manufacturing Systems.
In addition, Professor Arvind Atreya has accepted the position of an Associate Chair, with responsibilities related to laboratories and facilities, as well as research administration. During the past year, Professor Atreya has provided outstanding service as the Director of Laboratories.
