Margaret Wooldridge, the Arthur F. Thurnau Professor of Mechanical Engineering, was interviewed on NPR’s “All Things Considered” about automakers’ efforts to meet fuel-efficiency standards.

Wooldridge has been a member of the U-M faculty since 1998. She received an M.S. and a Ph.D from Stanford University. Her research has been funded by the Department of Energy, Ford Motor Company, the National Science Foundation, Hyundai, and Honda. She recently received the Department of Energy’s E.O Lawrence Award for her work advancing energy science and innovation.
