ME PhD student Shima Abadi has received the “best student paper in underwater acoustics” prize, for her paper presented at the 158th Meeting of the Acoustical Society of America, San Antonio, Texas (October 2009).
The paper was “Blind Deconvolution of Remote Source Signals from Acoustic Array Recordings in Multipath Environments,” (Abadi, S. and Dowling, D.R. 2009).
Abadi works with Professor David Dowling.
