The Regents of the University of Michigan have approved the following promotions of ME faculty:
Jeff S. Sakamoto, professor of mechanical engineering, with tenure, professor of materials science and engineering, without tenure, and professor of macromolecular science and engineering, without tenure
Jesse S. Capecelatro, associate professor of mechanical engineering, with tenure, and associate professor of aerospace engineering, without tenure
Elliott J. Rouse, associate professor of mechanical engineering, with tenure
As well, the UM Office of Research has approved the promotion of Eleni Gourgou to Associate Research Scientist, earlier this month.
