Graduate student Claudia Fajardo has been named the recipient of the 2005 Yanmar/SAE Scholarship.
The scholarship is awarded annually to a student enrolled in a postgraduate engineering (or related science) program who is pursuing a course of study or reserach related to the conservation of energy in transportation, agriculture and construction, or power generation.
Fajardo’s research concentrates on internal-combustion engines, and her advisor is Professor Volker Sick.
