Dr. Foued Ben Amara (MSE ME ’89, MSE EE ’92, PhD ME ’96) has received the 2009 Koh Young Paper Award, International Journal of Optomechatronics. The paper, which he co-authored with Azhar Iqbal, is “Modeling and Experimental Evaluation of a Circular Magnetic‐Fluid Deformable Mirror” (Volume 2, Issue 2, 2008).
The Koh Young Best Paper Award recognizes advancement and innovation in the field of optomechatronics.
