Mechanical Engineering associate professor Jianping Fu co-authors a commentary on the subject of synthetic embryos in Nature.

Fu is also an associate professor for Biomedical Engineering and Cell and Developmental Biology. He won the George J. Huebner, Jr. Research Excellence Award this year and is the associate director of the Michigan Center for Integrative Research in Critical Care.
