Michigan SAE Collegiate SAE Student Chapter has once again won the Outstanding Collegiate Chapter Award, which recognizes chapters “for exemplary performance in the areas of membership and recruitment, technical meetings, networking opportunities, SAE Collegiate Design Series teams and community service programs,” according to the SAE web site.
In addition, ME student Phillip Scott was one of only 25 students nationwide who were selected to participate in the recent SAE Leadership Development Program.
MSAE Advisor Professor Volker Sick said of the awards, “I am very proud of our students and their commitment to professional organizations, community service, and being a significant element towards ‘The Leaders and Best’.”
