The Mechanical Engineering Honors Banquet is held each spring to recognize those students who have made exceptional contributions in the areas of scholarship, research, leadership and/or service. All undergraduate students are invited to nominate themselves for the ME Transfer Student Award, ME Outstanding Service Award, ME Impact Award and ME Future Leader Award. To make a nomination, download the application and follow the instructions carefully.
The Mechanical Engineering Student Leader Board (MESLB) in conjunction with the Undergraduate Academic Services Office (ASO) will form student/faculty committees to review the nominations, interview candidates, and select a recipient for each award. Recipients will be invited to attend the ME Spring Honors Banquet, at which time they will be recognized for their achievements. The recipients will receive a monetary award in the amount of $750 which will be applied toward Winter 2010 tuition. Note that recipients must be enrolled for classes in Winter 2010 to receive an award.
