John Kim works on “the chemical kinetics of siloxane using a laser absorption system. Siloxane is known to have a big impact on the ignition properties of landfill gas in advanced combustion systems.”
Andre Boehman and Shorya Awtar have both received awards from the American Society of Mechanical Engineers.
“Siloxanes” could be key to deriving bolstered energy production from biogas.
A total of 70 fellows were named for 2019.
