Assistant Professor Bogdan Epureanu has been selected to receive the 2004 Junior Achievement Award of the American Academy of Mechanics. This award goes annually to the most promising young researcher in the field of mechanics who has received his/her highest degree within the past ten years. The award indicates the high esteem with which Professor Epureanu’s research work is viewed by his fellow mechanicians.
The award will be conferred at the Applied Mechanics dinner to be held on Thursday, November 18, in conjunction with the ASME IMECE in Anaheim, California.
