The U-M chapter of Women in Science and Engineering (WiSE) has selected Shanna Daly as the recipient of the 2020 Achievement Award.
The Achievement Award recognizes individuals in STEM whose achievements encourage and inspire others to reach their goals. Shanna has been selected for this award because of her impressive achievements in engineering research, education, and mentoring at Michigan, especially related to the promotion of a creative engineering culture that fosters diverse student engagement.

The award recognizes individuals who have served as outstanding formal or informal mentors to students. Angela has been selected for this award because of her outstanding efforts to support the professional advancement of students and demonstrable concern for students’ personal well-being.
